2010 Camp Parts List

The Stuff:

Snowcone Stand:

Need:

  • Strung out Diva in need of rehab. ( does stuDLycaPs count? No; I won't be there. - stuDLycaPs )
  • Towels for cleanup (2 24-packs - Homo Depot)
  • Table cloth clips (4 packs)
  • Tarp for floor of tent (12x12)
  • Cash for ice - $3 for a 5lb bag / $15 for six 5lb bags at Artica
  • Food permit (sent application)

Have:

  • Tent for snowcone machine (@ Nancy)
  • syrup (@ Nancy)
  • Snowcone wrappers (7500 left- @ Nancy)
  • Snowcone machine (@ Nancy)
  • Tables for snowcone machine and syrup (@ Nancy)
  • Ice Chests with wheels! (@ Nancy)
  • 2 food-safe buckets for cleanup (@ Nancy)
  • 2 12 quart containers (@ Nancy)
  • 1 gallon quat. sanitizer (1/2 of the bottle left @ Nancy)
  • 6 gallon bev dispenser for handwash station as per NSHD document (@ Nancy)
  • Spray bottles for misting people (4 @ Nancy).
  • 10 pumps for the Snocone syrups (10 @ Nancy)
  • Mugs (50-something @ Storage)
  • Simple Green cleaner (1 or 2 - @ RV)
  • Tennis balls for tent stakes (Many, possibly 32 - @ Storage)
  • Table cloth, plastic red and white (long tube, from Fantastico's - 4' x 80' - @ RV or Storage I hope)
  • Latex serving gloves ( @ Nancy )

Camp Decorations:

  • EL lights from Cool Neon
    • The box of EL from last year is gone, missing, probably stolen by Island hoodlums.
    • At the VERY least, we need a new driver for the PM sign
    • We had 3 40 foot pink EL wires to put around RVs. If we could even get one of these it would help make the camp look better at night.
  • Lots of nails and washers (Home Depot run)
    • These are must have items. We saved some from last year but we’ll need more. We use them to hold down the tarp and astroturf. Look for the biggest nails Home Depot has and washers to put over them. About 3-4 boxes.
  • solar powered perimeter lighting
    • We don't need these exact lights of course, the main thing is that they have a METAL shaft. Plastic can't be driven into the playa.
  • Pink flags
    • We are trying to get all the gay camps to line the street with pink flags. It would be great if we could line our frontage with some of these.
  • strips of thin astroturf (we could use one or 2 more 30 foot strips)
    • We have some from last year, enough to do a thin strip in front of the “grass”. A couple more strips would be nice to have for in front of the RVs
  • more flamingos
    • It’s the camps signature decoration and we’ve got about 1/2 of them left from last year.
  • and finally, how bout a couple of these lovely palm trees?

DJ Stand:

Need:

  • A DJ
  • Cardboard cutout of DJ stuDLycaPs
  • A plane to fly DJ sTudLYcaPS to the playa
  • Six-outlet power strips (IIRC, they were made by Belkin and most failed, need 3 or 4; should test any old ones that you find

Have:

  • Table for equipment (@ Storage)
  • MacBook from Mark (@ John's)
  • Amp/Speaker combo (@ Nancy)
  • 50 foot extension cords (4 @ Mark D.'s/RV/Storage, if we can find them)
There are more things that you guys have, will bring, and should keep track of, take a look at last year's list.
