Frying Pans & Sleeping Pills - Shared Supplies

This is a list of shared supplies. Please add to it as you see fit.



Shared Toiletries (list is out of date)

  • Toilet paper, single-ply
  • Disinfecting wipes (@Mark D's 1 box 346 wipes)
  • Disinfecting hand sanitizer (have)

Recovery (list is out of date)

  • Aspirin/Ibuprofen (have)
  • 5HTP (have)
  • Mylanta (have)
  • Sleeping pills (Benadryl / Diphenhydramine) (have)
  • Anti-gas pills (@Mark D's 1 bottle)
  • Eye Drops (@Mark D's 4 30mL and 4 15mL bottles)
  • Nose moisturizer (@Mark D's)
  • Vinegar (1 @ RV)

Major Oopsies (updated 20-Apr-10)

  • Emergency trauma/med kit (@RV, under stove)

Cooking and Eating (list is out of date, but pretty sure most of this is correct)

  • Disposable plastic cups (Need 80)
  • Frying pans (2 @ RV)
  • Small sauce pans (3 @ RV)
  • Large sauce pan with strainer (1 @ RV)
  • Knives (5 @ RV)
  • Can and Bottle Opener
  • Large spoon, fork, spatula, and tongs, plastic (1 @ RV)
  • Silverware, sets of 8 forks, 8 spoons, and 4 knives (2 @ RV)
  • Dishes and bowls sets, 12 dishes/6 bowls per set (2 @ RV)
  • Aim and Flame (Need for stove and in case fridge pilot goes out)

Cleaning and Cleanup (updated 20-Apr-10)

  • Dish soap (RUNNING OUT OF LYSOL IN RV - buy more)
  • Paper towels (@RV guessing about 6 rolls left - someone should verify)
  • Dish scrubber (Need)
  • Trash bags, large black (@RV guessing only 4 or 5 left - just buy more)

Miscellaneous Supplies (updated 20-Apr-10)

  • Lighter
  • Ziplock bags (Plenty of sandwich size @RV, almost none or none of gallon ziplock bugs - buy more)
  • Tape Measure, ancient (1 @RV)
  • Scissors (1 @RV)
  • Permanent marker (3 @RV)
  • Pens (a few, at least 2 @RV)
  • Paper tablet, to write down the memorable quotes like last year (1 @Tom... ask nicely and he'll pass off the sacred quote book to Mark)
  • AA batteries (4 - 6 @RV. It said we needed 36 last year, that may be right - Enough for everything except the amount for EL wire. If you're looking to buy, this place is really cheap. - Buy more)
  • AAA batteries (12 @RV. We totally did not need or go through 120 as claimed in the wiki last year. It appears that Mark D got 48 batteries last year, therefore we went through 36 - Buy more)
  • D batteries (For the motel sign, seems as though they can last for 2 nights. - Need)
  • Glow necklaces (40 @RV)
  • Glow bracelets (40 @Tom's, not sure if there are any others - will be brought to RV at some point. Nag me if it hasn't happened.)
  • Glow sticks (10 @Tom's - I think, I'll have to look for them. Probably should buy more.)
  • Clock (1 @RV, Tom *may* be purchasing new clock for dash)

Towels and Bedding (list is out of date)

  • Pillow cases
  • Pillows (3 - Mark D's, how many do we need?)
  • Beach towels (Need 4 should be enough)
  • Sheets (2 or 3 @RV)
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping Bags?
  • Hand Towels (have)

Bicycles and Accessories (updated 20-Apr-10)

  • Head/Bicycle lights (1 or 2 @RV - need more, one for each person - THIS IS A SAFETY THING PEOPLE, IT'S CHEAPER TO BUY EXTRA THAN HAVE AN INJURY)
  • Bicycle taillight (1 @RV)

Bicycle (and minor R.V.) Repair (updated 20-Apr-10)

  • Screwdriver set (Need - I'm not buying anymore fucking screwdrivers for the RV. Everybody takes them. We've gone through 18 screwdrivers!)
  • Tire pump, 12v electric (Not sure, I think Mark D has this somewhere... - You will need this!)
  • Tire iron set (RV/MPV)
  • Pliers (Need - These are gone too, damnit!)
  • Wire cutters (1 @RV)
  • Bicycle tire patch and glue (Need - I'm sure it's no good after the 2 previous years on the playa)
  • Adjustable wrench (Gone, but we didn't use it last year)
  • Chain lube (Don't have, but don't need - nobody is going to use this in the desert, just go to a bike repair camp)
  • 26x2.125" replacement tubes (Not sure - Probably just go to a bike repair camp)
  • 27 replacement tube (Not sure - Probably just go to a bike repair camp)
