The Idea:
Let's put together a list of things we need to buy for our camp's
construction, and then we'll try and divvy out the supply purchases and funding.
The Stuff:
- Astroturf for the "pool." How much probably depends on how big Mark Brown's blue tarp is.
- Tent spikes to hold the blue "pool" tarp and Astroturf down.
- Our RV is 31' long. We'll be affixing Mark Demma's stucco-looking paper to tarps (already purchased), so we'll need:
- Glue/Duct tape. And lots of it. Also...
- Something to fasten the tarp to the RV. Massive bungee cords, rope/twine, or maybe high-strength magnets. Maybe this; 500 foot spool used for tying down palm trees. (If people think the palm tree tie down will work, let me (Tom) buy it since I've got some other stuff that I want to buy from AS&S).
- Custom sign. Either we go with one made by these guys, or we make one ourselves -- in which case, we'll need a larger supply list for the sign itself.
- Lighting for the camp
